Home Makeover

Client contacted me about “redoing some trim” on a house they just bought. After consultation it turned into a lot more. She wanted to add cabinets and told me to just make the trim look nice. “I trust you, to make it look nice” she said. Oh, man the pressure is on me now. In the end she loved it.

Before and after of the refrigerator cabinet stack

Another view of the refrigerator to show the panel installed on the side of the cabinet. This is an inexpensive way to dress up a cabinet and add the furniture look.
We raised the height of this cabinet and added glass cabinet doors, also note the end panel.
We added height to this cabinet and added the glass doors. Also note we incased the kitchen windows.
The dining room entry started as a plain sheetrock entry way. We wrapped the sheetrock in columns that match the profile of the wainscoting that we added to the stairs.
Wainscoting going up the stairs. This was a particularly difficult job sue to multiple plane and pitch changes in the rise of the stairs.
We added the trey ceiling to this room and installed crown molding with a relief for and LED light that the electrician will add later.
Client wanted the 3 windows to look as much like one large window as possible. I decided on incase them to bring them together.
Same incasing in the living room. on this one I added the crown over the window so the height of the window and the entry way to the kitchen (left of window) would match.
