This is cabinetry, not a bed you assemble from a box. If the room is odd — sloped ceiling, dormer, tight width — that is the point of building it.

A built-in bunk we built
Stairs under the window, reading lights and USB at each bunk, drawers with soft-close, shiplap to match the house, welded guard rail. Framed in the shop, test-fit, then installed so the owners weren’t living in a construction zone.

We used 2×4 construction for long term durability. Built in shop to the drawing and assembled on site to save in home time.

Do you build adult bunks, or only kids’ rooms?
Adult bunks and guest bunk rooms are normal work. Same shop as the cabinets.
Is this a catalog bunk or custom?
Custom. Built to the wall. Odd rooms and sloped ceilings are the point.
