This kitchen got almost all new cabinets, built to the room and run to the ceiling. The old wall oven went out and a Wolf range went in, with an updraft vented through the exterior brick. The desk became a pet center, the sink base was rebuilt for an apron-front sink, and the island was replaced.

We drew it in 3D first and walked through it with the homeowners online before anything was built.

3D drawings first

We spent real time on the 3D drawings and met online a few times to walk through them. That is where the layout gets settled. Changes on a drawing are cheap. Changes after the boxes are built are not.

What we built

Cabinets. Almost all of the cabinets were replaced with custom kitchen cabinets built in our shop. Toppers go to the ceiling, and new crown molding finishes the top.

Island. A new custom kitchen island with twin trash pullouts, and much more solid than the one it replaced.

Sink base. Rebuilt to take an apron-front sink.

Pet center. The old built-in desk was turned into a pet center with a spot for a beverage fridge.

Range, vent, and gas

The old wall oven was swapped for a Wolf range. The updraft vent runs through the exterior brick, and we built a custom enclosure for it. We coordinated the gas line with our plumber.

Floors

The floors were patched so everything looks original.
